Great party food – Super Mardi Gras Ball dish.Paired with Pepper Jelly. this recipe is doubled packed with flavor – Great Party Food – great for Mardi Gras and family gatherings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boudin
- 2 packages 8 oz Crescent Rolls
- 4 slices crumbled bacon
- 1 to 2 chopped jalepenos
- 1 egg
- Shredded cheddar cheese for topping
- Pepper Jelly
Directions
Step 1
Place crescents in a circle - large end towards center
Step 2
Spread boudin evenly over crescents
Step 3
Top with crumbled bacon, and jalepeno,
Step 4
Pull to center crisscrossing each crescent
Step 5
Scramble egg lightly and baste the ring
Step 6
Bake 10 to 13 minutes at 350 or until crescents are lightly brown. A cookie sheet or pizza stone maybe used.
Step 7
In the last five minutes of baking, sprinkle shredded cheese and place back in the oven until the cheese melts.
Step 8
Serve warm with pepper jelly

The crumbled bacon can also be placed as a topping instead of inside the ring.
