Ribs contain a substantial amount of connective tissue. Therefore, many cooks boil the ribs to get them tender. The length of time needed to tenderize will vary. The secret to great ribs is to cook them at low temps for long periods of time.
Boil ribs until tender (optional). Mix all ingredients together and pour over ribs.
Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
If ribs are not boiled, bake covered at 350 degrees for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
