In Memory of Grandma Carolyn Frost
My grandma’s recipe is traditional for me- it’s what I grew up eating at her house on special occasions. I’m so thankful she made me a cookbook as a wedding gift 15 years ago. Making these for my family brings back such great memories. I hope others will enjoy them too
Cook sausage and drain off the grease
Add onion and saute
Add cheese and stir until melted
Add cooked broccoli and jalapenos to the mixture
Cut top off rolls and remove the insides
Stuffed with meat mixture and replace tops
Roll in mixture of margarine and garlic powder and place on baking sheet
Sprinkle with garlic spread sprinkle
Bake at 375° about 15 minutes or until brown
Editor's Note - Pisotlettes are football shaped brown and serve rolls. This dish may be made with ready made rolls - just pick up a bag of rolls - wrap rolls in aluminum foil when baking.
