Mouth watering hearty potato casserole!
Boil potatoes in their jackets until done. Drain and set aside.
Fry bacon until crispy and drain on paper towels.
Quarter potatoes and add to a bowl along with crumbled bacon, miracle whip, 1 cup cheese, chopped onion, salt & pepper and sugar. Stir ingredients until mixed well.
Spoon into a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 15 to 20 min in a 400 degree oven until hot and bubbly. Do not brown cheese.
