Boil potatoes and onions in salted water for five minutes, drain
Melt butter; add the flour and stir until smooth
Stir in the milk, salt, and pepper
Stir and cook until thick then boil for two minutes
Spoon 1/2 of the potatoes in a baking dish and add 1/2 the sauce
Stir well then add the rest of the potatoes and sausage
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes until brown on top
