Combine butter and seasonings in a shallow 1 1/2 quart to 2 quart baking dish.
Add potatoes and onions turning to coat with the butter mixture.
Cover and bake at 400 degrees until potatoes are tender (40 to 45 minutes).
Serve with lemon wedges and parsley if desired.
