Here is a dish for your “meat and potato” kids. You can’t go wrong with meatloaf. It goes great with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and 1/2 can of the tomato sauce. Form into a loaf and put into an oiled 7x10 inch loaf pan.
For the sauce topping, combine all the remaining ingredients, using the remainder of the tomato sauce and pour over the meat loaf.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
