My sister prepared this punch for my son’s graduation party and it was a hit. It was the first dish I ran out of. It is a basic Lemon Lime Punch with Sherbet but the green color makes it reminiscent of the swamp waters. You could add purple food color to the pineapple sherbet and have a tricolor punch perfect for Mardi Gras festivities. See the picture.
Mix fruit juice and water; add ginger ale, then the soda water. Chill or freeze all ingredients until slushy. Take a bundt pan or Tupperware mold and spoon the lime and pineapple sherbet alternately to form the centerpiece in the punch. Freeze the mold. Just before serving, place the mold in warm water and remove the sherbet and place in the punch.
