A simple and tasty rice dressing in half the time.
In a medium skillet, brown the meat slowly so it stays tender. When the meat is brown, drain the oil/grease. Cook the rice in a separate pot. Combine the meat, cooked rice, mushrooms and spices to taste, remembering to go easy on the salt as the soup is usually salty. Mix and heat throughout. Ready to serve. A nice flavor addition to this "pot" is to add a half cup each of chopped parsley and green onion tops (scallions) after combining the ingredients.
