In a medium to large skillet, brown the ground meat and remove any fat.
Add the chopped onions and sauté with the meat.
Add the can of lima beans, rice and water. Season with salt, black pepper and red pepper to taste. Stirring every 5 minutes, cook until rice is done (about twenty minutes or so). Add more water if it's too dry.
