Jack Daniels Cake

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1-1/2 sticks butter (12 tbsp)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup Jack Daniels
- 5 eggs
- 1 pack butterscotch morsels
- 8 oz Walnut pieces, small in size
- Topping Glaze:
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
Directions
Step 1
Sift cake and pudding mix together
Step 2
Add butter, milk, eggs; beat long and hard by hand
Step 3
Reserve 1/4 cup walnuts and 1/4 cup morsels; add the rest to the mix and fold
Step 4
Pour into a greased and floured cake pan then sprinkle remaining nuts and morsels
Step 5
Bake at 350 degrees for 30+ minutes
Step 6
Topping Glaze: Cream butter and sugar. Cook over medium heat until very hot and sugar is melted. Remove from heat and add beaten egg. Continuing beating to keep from codding. Let cool then add Jack Daniels to taste and pour over cake.
