It only takes 6 apples to create this impossibly delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • Pie filling:
  • 6 cups sliced pared tart apples
  • 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp or more ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp softened margarine
  • Streusel topping:
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees and grease your pie plate.

Step 2

Mix apples, cinnamon and nutmeg and turn onto the pie plate. Beat the sugar, milk, Bisquick mix, eggs and margarine until smooth (about one minute). Pour over apples.

Step 3

In small bowl combine all ingredients for streusel topping (flour, brown sugar and butter) until crumbly. Sprinkle over the pie.

Step 4

Bake pie at 325 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Cover top with foil for the last 20 minutes of baking time to prevent burning.
