These crisp, delicate delights are a wonderful treat for your loved ones. Similar to a tea cookie.

Ingredients
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1 egg, separated
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 370 degrees.
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream the butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Add the egg yolk, flour, salt and vanilla and mix.
Step 3
Roll the dough thin on a floured board and cut in small circles.
Step 4
Beat the egg white and brush over top of the cookies.
Step 5
In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle in the center of the cookies.
Step 6
Bake on an un-greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes.
