A sweet and spicy sauce that goes well with shrimp. As with most of our seafood recipes, crawfish may be substituted for shrimp.
Sauté onion and bell pepper in a small amount of oil or butter until tender.
Add all ingredients except shrimp. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add shrimp and cook for another 20 minutes or until shrimp are pink and cooked through. You may need to add water if the sauce becomes too thick.
