In a medium glass bowl, mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Add sugar and mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine butter and eggs. Add to the flour mixture and beat until smooth. Blend in the nuts and dates.
Pour into greased 9x9 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cut into bars while warm. Yields about 24 bars.
