The three sins of good baking – fudge cake, chocolate chips and nuts. Here is a recipe that contains all three.
Ingredients
- 1 box double fudge cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Pam cooking spray
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a large glass bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil and water until well blended. Add in and combine the nuts and chocolate chips.
Step 3
Spray your cookie sheet with Pam. Spoon rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto the cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with the spoon. Leave room between the cookies as the dough will spread while baking.
Step 4
Bake from 14 to 16 minutes and remove from the oven. Allow the cookies to set about 5 minutes. Cool on wire rack and store in a closed container.
