In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Cool and add one egg. Combine the butter, egg and the box of cake mix. Pour the mixture in a 9x13 pan or 8x8 pan.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, the powdered sugar and 3 eggs. Pour into the baking pan over the mixture. The mixture is slightly watery but will firm after coming out of the oven.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
