Coke lends a lot of flavor to this cake. Frosting for this cake is on our website appropriately titled ‘Coke Cake Frosting.’
In a large bowl, sift together sugar and flour. Stir in marshmallows and set aside.
Combine shortening, margarine, cocoa and Coke in a small pot, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over dry mixture.
Stir in buttermilk, baking soda, and eggs. Take care to stir gently; do not beat mixture.
Pour into a greased Bundt cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
