Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Then add the flour, baking powder and salt.
Place 3/4 of the mixture in a greased and floured 9x12 pan. Spread the can of pie filling on top of mixture. Take the remaining mixture and drop by spoonfuls over the fruit.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
